I found this video earlier on People.com.  Apparently, Kate Gosselin has started shooting her new show.

Does TLC actually think people want to watch just her on a show? Especially working in a diner? It was painful enough watching her serve cereal to her 8 children every episode. Those poor diner patrons. I think it’s best she get a non-TV job and spend some quality time with her kids and not her bodyguard.

Dear Kanye,

I forgave you when you had a hissy fit at the Grammy’s in 2004 claiming you were robbed of the Best New Artist award. Everyone has a bad day.  I forgave you in 2005 when you said “George Bush doesn’t like black people” during the Katrina Benefit.  Partially because I really disliked George W. Bush.  I forgave you when prior to the 2005 Grammy’s you said there would be a “real problem” if you went away empty handed.  I forgave you in 2007 at the VMA’s when you again had a hissy-fit, not only because you won no awards, but also because you had to perform *gasp* at Hugh Hefner’s Sky Villa at the Palms and not the event.  I also forgave you this year when you dissed Twitter.

But your actions last night are UNFORGIVABLE.  Not only was this Taylor Swift’s first VMA, but Beyonce was also nominated for Video of the Year.  She stated on the red carpet that she really wanted the big award.  Beyonce wasn’t upset losing an award to Taylor, why were you?  I’m glad they kicked you out and glad they cancelled your performance.  It probably wouldn’t have been that exciting anyway.  Let’s face it.  You are known more for your stupid antics then for your music, which isn’t even all that good.

According to the NY Post and TMZ, Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, was found dead in his apartment in NYC today. Police found drug paraphernalia and prescription pill bottles near his body.  He was an extremely talented DJ, spinning records at endless Hollywood clubs and parties.  In his younger years he romanced Mandy Moore and was engaged to Nicole Richie. More recently, he paired up with drummer Travis Barker of Blink-182 to make the group trvsdjam. They were touring in September of 2008 and both survived a bad plane accident while returning from a show in South Carolina. They narrowly escaped death and two of their good friends died. Reminds me of the Final Destination movies a little bit.  You can never escape death.  It WILL find you. I hope Travis isn’t next.  RIP Adam.

Look out celebrity stalkers!! McAfee released it’s annual list of “Most Dangerous” Celebs to Search. Who knew that celebs were so dangerous? I am kind of surprised that Britney Spears didn’t make the top 10. She came in at #12. What is also interesting is that Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox are tied for #8.  That must just eat Angelina up.  Megan is known to many as the up and coming “Angelina type”.  She’s probably even more pissed that Jennifer Aniston came in at #3.

According to McAfee, here are the top 10 to watch out for:

1. Jessica Biel – Major buzz about her figure and high-profile relationship with Justin Timberlake makes Jessica Biel an easy target for spammers and hackers. When “Jessica Biel screensavers” was searched, almost half of the sites were identified as containing malicious downloads with spyware, adware and potential viruses.
2. Beyoncé – Beyonce tops the MTV Video Music Award nominee list and McAfee’s results as the most frequent, highly-ranked celebrity. Inputting “Beyoncé ringtones” into a search engine yielded a dangerous Web site linking to a distributor of adware and spyware.
3. Jennifer Aniston – Hollywood’s favorite leading lady should be searched with caution. More than 40% of the Google search results for “Jennifer Aniston screensavers” contained nasty viruses, including one called the “FunLove virus.”
4. Tom Brady – The New England Patriot seems to attract many fans who want a free download of the athlete in action, but not the Trojan that comes with it, as identified by McAfee SiteAdvisor technology.
5. Jessica Simpson – Jessica Simpson is as dangerous to search online as she is famous. Searching for “Jessica Simpson videos” can mislead unsuspecting surfers to sites with potentially damaging downloads.
6. Gisele Bundchen –  The world’s highest-paid supermodel is a popular target for cybercriminals. A search for “Gisele Bundchen photos” can direct users to red-ranked sites that breached browser security in McAfee’s tests.
7. Miley Cyrus – Cybercriminals are using Web sites related to Miley Cyrus’ image to link to other harmful sites containing spyware.
8. Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie – Both tabloid fixture Megan Fox and American icon Angelina Jolie resulted in an equal number of risky download Web sites, proving cybercriminals are in the business of capitalizing on the world’s most famous faces.
9. Ashley Tisdale – The “High School Musical” star is a popular search term when it comes to searching for screensavers. A host of screensaver Web sites contained numerous malware-laden downloads.
10. Brad Pitt – Appearing in the top spot last year, Brad Pitt fell towards the bottom of this year’s list, resulting in a few less, but just as dangerous, red and yellow-ranked Web sites.

“Cybercriminals are star watchers too – they latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise,” said Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee Avert Labs. “Consumers’ obsession with celebrity news and culture is harmless in theory, but one bad download can cause a lot of damage to a computer.”

This makes me nervous.  Although, I rarely google a celebrity directly, I get my gossip from other sites, like People and TMZ. Watch out fellow celeb obsessors!

There was a time when I was a fan of Mariah Carey. That was before she got in a jacuzzi tub in a towel and worked out on a stairmaster in heels on MTV’s Cribs. That being said, I came across this picture on People earlier.  It is the promotional shot that Elizabeth Arden released for Mariah’s new fragrance, “Forever”, coming out in September.   There are so many things wrong with this picture, I do not know where to begin.  Let’s start not with the picture but with Mariah having not one, but two previous fragrances (M by Mariah Carey and Luscious Pink). Obviously these sold well because she wouldn’t have gotten another deal, unless it was a 3 shot deal. I understand that celebrities need to build their brands with clothing lines and fragrances, but three of them?

“Fragrance is so personal,” she tells PEOPLE, “and Forever captures that glamorous feeling that I want to share with my fans.” The opulent floral scent, which will start at $42 for a 1-oz. spray, will contain notes of lotus blossom, tuberose, gardenia, exotic woods and white musk.

Please tell me, who buys these things? Especially for $42? Is it worth $42 to smell like Mariah? I am surprised that she would even approve of this picture in the first place. Her face looks a little bloated and it kind of looks like she has lazy eye. Her body is obviously photoshopped, in her favor, I might add, but still.  Maybe they should have spent a little more time on her face?  I’m surprised there are no butterflies hidden anywhere.  What do you think?

According to TMZ.com, “Megan Wants a Millionaire” Canadian contestant Ryan Jenkins is a “person of interest” in the murder of his wife, Playboy model Jasmine Flore.  If you watch the show, he’s the one that whispered “You are gonna love Canadian bacon” to Megan upon meeting her.  This isn’t Jenkins’ first run-in with the law.  In 2007, Jenkins was convicted of assaulting then girlfriend Faern Jewell.  He was sentenced to 15 months probation and mandatory counseling for “psychological/domestic violence/coping skills.” He was also ordered to attend outpatient treatment for sex addiction.

Sources say that a text message from Flore’s ex-boyfriend may have set off Jenkins.  He met Flore after he was released from “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and married her days later.  Don’t these reality shows do background checks? I can’t imagine this not coming up during the casting process. VH1 has pulled the show off the air after hearing the news and issued this statement:

Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.

Very sad.  It just goes to show you that what you see, especially on reality TV, is never what you get.  Poor Megan.  All the poor gold-digger wanted was a nice, good-looking millionaire.  Is that too much to ask?

One could say that I am celebrity obsessed. I read all the magazines. I peruse all the gossip sites. I watch all the shows.  This obsession with celebrity began early.

There was that time that I was 12 and was in the Caribbean on vacation with my parents and I saw Jason Priestley. If you don’t know who Jason Priestley is, he played Brandon Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210.  He walked by me and I heard someone say “Oh my god, it’s Jason Preistley.” I never ran so fast in my life, and I think I was wearing clogs. Unfortunately, he entered the casino, and given my age, I was not granted access. I begged my parents to stay in the lobby and wait for him to come out, but no, a childhood dream, squashed. And those few years that I worked at Long Island radio stations WBLI and WBAB and met a few people: BBMak, Pink, Lionel Richie, Joey McIntyre (of NKOTB) and Ozzy Osbourne.

The most recent of my brushes with celebrity comes in the form of Tweets. It is my love of Dave Matthews Band that brought me to Twitter in the first place. Word had it that @davejmatthews (Dave Matthews) was “tweeting” with his fans. @slessard (Stefan Lessard, Bass player) was also on there.  One of my columns in TweetDeck is reserved strictly for celebrities.  At first I just read what they were saying, but then I tried to tweet them often in the hopes that they will respond.  And they have!!

Now, the word is still out on whether this is actually Larry David, but for now I will give him the benefit of the doubt and include him on this list.  I had experienced a LD moment at a Dr.’s office and tweeted him the pic.  He responded with this tweet. This was when I had just joined and I remember how excited I was! I asked him if and when a new season was starting. And he replied AGAIN!!! It was months later that @jgarlin mentioned on his Twitter page that this was not Larry David.  I was disappointed, but there were better celebrity tweets to come.

Dave Matthews (@DaveJMatthews)

I tweeted Dave ALL the time from when I started on Twitter and he never wrote back.  He seemed to have a set group of fans that he conversed with.  So, I decided to tweet my frustration.  I guess I got his attention because he tweeted me back that night, not once, not twice, but three times! This was a week after Harry passed away and I don’t think I had smiled since.  Dave definitely put a smile on my face that evening.  Then, a few weeks later, Dave was tweeting non-stop.  I tweeted to him, never thinking he would respond again.  But, he did! That’s right, Dave Matthews tweeted me from his bathtub.  I felt so special.  The last time he tweeted me was in February.  He had been missing for awhile, so I sent him a tweet.  And he responded once more.  When I first started following him, he had 12,000 followers.  Now he has over 800,000.  I’m not expecting to be heard now in a crowd of 800k, but I’ll let you know if I hear from him again.

I had never tweeted Diddy on Twitter.  I always followed him and got a kick out of his motivational attitude.  He sent this tweet. I thought this was hilarious and wrote back.  I mean, everyone should know the proper Twitter terminology, right? Well, this was his response.  LOL. I’m not gonna argue with the man, he is an entertainment mogul and all.

You all know him.  If you don’t know his music, you’ve seen him cracking jokes about people’s cars on “Pimp My Ride”.  He is one of the best parts of that show.  I started following him on Twitter and never responded to anything until he posted this tweet aimed at his new followers.  Having been a dedicated follower from the very beginning, I took offense. X immediately responded to me.  I could just hear him saying that!

Al Roker (@AlRoker)

My tweets with Al Roker came after my HORRIBLE experience at the Today Show when I went to see Dave Matthews Band perform there in June.  You can read the entire story here.  The story was brought to Al’s attention by my friend Louise (@lovelylu).  She had sent him a link to my post and he responded something to the effect of “you can’t please everyone all of the time”.  Due to Twitter’s search only going back so far, I don’t have the original tweet.  Then, I tweeted this out to my tweeps. Well, Apparently this got Al’s attention, because he sent me this response.  And this one. Shocked that he actually responded, I thanked him.  And I got another response! I’m hoping that if DMB comes back to the Today Show, Al might remember me and get me a good view.  A girl can dream can’t she?

So this should be a lesson to  those of you following celebrities on Twitter: send them a tweet.  Even though they might not follow all of us, they do respond.  You never know.  Find more celebrity tweets here.  Even if they don’t respond, it’s really fun to listen in on what they are saying.

There is this “rumor” going around that Lady Gaga is a man.  I read this article over the weekend and watched the video attached (above).  I love Lady Gaga.  I love what she has done with fashion and I think her songs are very catchy and fun.   If you want to see “her penis” watch around 1:12 in the video.  She mumbles something (I think it is “Oh, I can’t do this”) while grabbing her crotch and then hopping off the bike and flashes something strange between her legs. I actually believed it a little after watching the video.

But then, I saw these pictures (via Examiner), which clearly show that there Gaga is not the owner of a penis.  I think this was a clever way to dispel the rumors.  What do you think?
